Since Conservative Hybrid funds hold a mix of debt and equity securities, with a heavy tilt towards debt, they are considered to be safer than pure equity funds as well as all other hybrid funds. They marginally benefit from the capital growth of the equity portion, and enjoy regular interest received from the debt securities invested in.
